Meet the RDST Agent
RDST now runs an always-on agent on your computer that watches your PostgreSQL or MySQL database around the clock. It keeps a history of every query, notices when one gets slower or changes plans, and runs EXPLAIN ANALYZE with real parameter values to find the cause. Then it gives you a ranked list of fixes, each with the SQL to run and the SQL to undo it. After you apply a fix, it measures the query again to verify it worked.
RDST now integrates Jev, TypeSafe's SQL classification model
Not every slowdown deserves an interruption. Jev, Readyset’s attention model, decides which changes are worth a notification, so the important ones reach your Inbox and smaller wobbles stay on the chart. It also scans your entire query workload in a fraction of a second without executing anything, flagging structural problems like missing indexes, bypassed indexes, join growth, repeated work and broad scans, so RDST’s deep analysis goes where it’s needed.
RDST is now Apache 2 licensed with free unlimited inference
RDST is now open source under Apache 2, and hosted inference is on us for anyone signed in with a Readyset account. No API key required. Use it, fork it, build on it, ship it inside your own tooling. Read the full announcement.
